Job Description
As a Cloud Deployment Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in deploying, managing, and optimizing our infrastructure on cloud platforms to support data-intensive applications and AI-driven solutions. This position will involve working closely with engineering teams to implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures, optimizing for performance and reliability in large-scale deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture Design: Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure for high-throughput data processing, retrieval, and embedding applications.
- Scalability and Reliability: Develop and manage deployment processes that ensure the system scales reliably and cost-effectively across a growing range of applications.
- Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance, ensuring all deployments meet regulatory and organizational standards.
- Automation and Monitoring: Develop automated CI/CD pipelines and robust monitoring systems to maintain high uptime and smooth deployment cycles.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with backend engineers, data scientists, and machine learning teams to ensure optimal integration of models and services into cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering, specifically working with large-scale data systems.
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with their service offerings for compute, networking, and data storage.
- Proficiency in cloud management tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, including IAM, VPC, and network security configurations.
